1 million people enter menopause every single year in the United States alone. Despite this, it is still a taboo topic that is under-researched and undiscussed. This project aims to combat the lack of discussion. The information out there on menopause is overwhelming and leaves out the reality of the experience. To dig into the experience of menopausal people, a survey on their experience as well as the facts were used to create a zine that blends quotes, statistics, and illustrations. The goal of this zine is to help menopausal people of any stage understand what is happening to their bodies and to encourage conversation around menopause.
